The ULM Composer-In-Residence Series welcomes Dr. Douglas Hedwig to campus for a series of lectures and performance February 17 and 18, 2020. The first performance will be Monday evening, February 17, at 7:30 pm in the Emy-Lou Biedenharn Recital Hall. That performance will feature chamber music composed by Dr. Hedwig. The second performance will be Tuesday evening, February 18, at 7:30 pm in Brown Theater. That performance will feature Hedwig's music for concert band. The program includes Philip Sparke's "Saga of Haakon the Good", John Ireland's "Epic March" and music from "Back to the Future" by Alan Silvestri. Featured soloists are Jamie Lipton, euphonium and Adam Hudlow, flugelhorn. John Caputo conducts. This concert is FREE and open to the public.
